Hello, my name is Sharon,
I am a reiki master practitioner with a background in Oncology and Palliative nursing.
I have been practising reiki since 2016 and am a fully insured member of the UK Reiki Federation.

Reiki (pronounced ray -kee) is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy, it is a relaxation technique that balances the body, reduces stress and helps the healing process.

I channel reiki using a non touch method, the energy flows from my hands into your body, moving wherever it needs to, to benefit your health and well being.

All sessions are held in a safe and nurturing space where clients can receive deep relaxation, balance energy and empowerment to achieve a greater sense of well being. 

I first became aware of reiki whilst nursing in a hospice environment. Reiki healing was part of the complimentary therapies offered there and was very popular with both patients and relatives alike.

I frequently witnessed at first hand the beautiful, soothing, inner peace and tranquility that reiki gave our patients and also to their loved ones too.
This sparked more questions than answers within me and knew that I had to discover more.

Further research into reiki resonated deeply with me. It complimented my holistic health care background and it felt a natural addition to my existing skills, knowledge and experience.

Reiki has been a recognised complimentary therapy within UK hospices for many years and is becoming more acknowledged and used in hospitals too.

I love that reiki is an inclusive practice because it is a healing technique accessible to people of all backgrounds, beliefs, ages and genders.

I am deeply committed to providing compassionate reiki sessions that guide clients toward emotional balance, and a deeper connection with self, releasing tension and restoring vitality.

Since moving away from full time nursing I have given myself more time to pursue my reiki practice. I am deeply passionate about promoting holistic health and thoroughly enjoy witnessing the multi layered health benefits that reiki brings our clients.
