What I am offering.

Buqi (pronounced boo tchee) Therapy
First session is 1.5 hours, (£75) then follow up treatments are 1 hour. (£60)
Buqi was developed by the late Dr. Shen Hongxun. He combined his knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine and taiji forces to produce a healing system which addresses illness on the levels of structure, function, emotion and energy. I received my Buqi diploma in 1999.
When your bodys vital energy or chi is blocked it can cause a variety of symptoms that include pain, stiffness, anxiety, depression and general poor health. In TCM this stuck chi is understood to be one of the causative factors of disease. Using vibration force techniques developed from my 23 years of chi gong practice, I support the release of this stuck chi known as “binqi”, offering appropriate exercises for the client that addresses postural habits.

Somatic Movement

1:1 at Fiveways or Outdoors in a Site Specific location.
I offer a deeper enquiry into your bodily agency, healing and creativity as witness and facilitator.
1 hour session is £60- £40 sliding scale and this will not include travel time for outdoor practice. (I ask extra £15 for travel and petrol.)

Influences:
Helen Poynor’s environmental movement approach has been at the heart of my inspirational teachings. Now, more than ever, Somatic movement education is vital to assist and reconnect a feeling of disconfobulation and to enable the return of self-discernment and a heart-centred, grounded and eco-centric based existence.

I offer you an invitation to Be in Nature and slow down.I hold a safe space when you are moving outdoors. Allowing Nature to be your Muse. I offer a witness space and prompts anchored in my 20 years of running groups outside. I have studied with Linda Hartley, post MA in Dance and Somatic Wellbeing for the past 4 years in a closed group.
“Somatic practices teach a deep reflection on embodied experience, bringing the often wordless or pre-verbal experiences of the body into consciousness and language. “ (Linda Hartley)

Plant Spirit Healing
Poh-Eng was a student of the late Eliot Cowan who its founder. Plant spirit medicine may support clients who do not like needles. This elegant modality is based on the 5 Element acupuncture protocol. The spirit of the plants moves and clears the imbalanced energies that the needles would. You also receive the exquisite signature of the plant at the level you are needing it. Plant spirit medicine has recently supported clients with post COVID fatigue , depression and trauma related issues. Symptoms are the messengers of imbalance at a deeper level and merely treating the symptoms will not resolve the underlying causes of dis-ease. The plant spirits touch the places in the client where their spirit is needing support, bringing them back to a state of harmony and balance.
