It was during Lisa’s Osteopathic training at the European School of Osteopathy (a four year full-time course) that she first started to treat children and expectant mums. Lisa qualified in 1992. She continued to study Osteopathy in the Cranial field with the Sutherland Society, plus a further eight years with Jim Jealous (the Biodynamic approach, which supports the intention of the patients’ self healing mechanism). Lisa started to study the Hakomi Method in 2004 and was certificated in 2008.

After Lisa qualified she worked in London including at the Osteopathic Centre for Children. For the next eleven years she was part of a team of Homeopaths and Osteopaths running a Children's Clinic here in Sheffield.

Osteopaths are skilled at observing and reading strain patterns from trauma, dysfunction and postural influences. Lisa values the simplicity of the method, integrating the possibility of a more full and complete relationship with the whole of who we are, rather than focusing on what’s wrong or needs to be fixed
